Who we are
VectorOne, LLC ("VectorOne", "we", "us") is a Delaware limited liability company headquartered in Dallas, Texas. This policy describes how we handle information collected through this website and through the forms it offers, including requests for access and applications for employment.
For any question about this policy, or to exercise any of the rights described in it, write to hellothere@vectorone.ai.
Information we collect
We collect only what you choose to give us, and the minimum required to operate the site:
Request-access submissions: the industry you select, your role, the systems you tell us you use, and your work email address.
Career applications: your name, email address, location, LinkedIn profile, any portfolio link you provide, your note to us, and the résumé or CV document you upload.
Operational data: standard server logs kept by our hosting provider (IP address, request time, pages requested) used for security and reliability, and a session cookie used solely to keep authorized administrators signed in.
What we do not collect
We do not run third-party advertising, advertising pixels, or cross-site trackers. We do not sell personal information, and we do not buy data about you from anyone. The site sets no analytics cookies. A single preference (your light-or-dark theme choice) is stored locally in your own browser and never transmitted to us.
How we use information
We use the information above for exactly the purposes it was given:
To evaluate and respond to requests for access to our products.
To evaluate candidates for employment and to communicate with them about roles.
To operate, secure, and improve the website itself.
To meet legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations if they arise.
Where information lives
Submissions are stored in a dedicated database operated for VectorOne by Neon, Inc. (serverless Postgres) and processed by our hosting provider, Vercel, Inc., both under their own security and data-processing commitments. Résumé documents are stored in that same dedicated database, not with any additional file-storage vendor. Access to applicant and request data is restricted to authorized VectorOne personnel behind authenticated access.
Retention
We keep request-access submissions while we evaluate partnerships and for a reasonable period afterward. We keep career applications for up to twenty-four months from submission so we can consider candidates for future roles, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Server logs are retained on our hosting provider's standard rolling schedule.
Sharing
We share personal information only with the service providers named above, acting on our instructions; with professional advisers (legal, accounting) under confidentiality; and where required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of VectorOne or others. If VectorOne is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
Your rights
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live (including under the California Consumer Privacy Act, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and the EU/UK GDPR where applicable), you may have additional statutory rights. To exercise any of them, email hellothere@vectorone.ai from the address you used with us; we will verify the request and respond within the period the applicable law requires. We will never treat you differently for exercising a privacy right.
Security
All traffic to the site is encrypted in transit (TLS). Data at rest is encrypted by our infrastructure providers. Administrative access to submissions requires authentication, and credentials are stored only as environment secrets. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we design for the standard we hold our own products to.
Children
This site is intended for business audiences and for candidates of working age. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
International visitors
VectorOne operates from the United States, and information you submit is processed in the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, you consent to that transfer by submitting information through the site.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the revised version here with a new effective date. Material changes to how we handle already-collected information will be flagged prominently on this page.
