The financial logic of the hardest industries lives in rules learned over decades: joint-interest billing, reserve adequacy, indirect rates, waterfalls. Your job is to make that logic executable, testable, and boringly reliable.
What the work looks like:
Translate deep industry rules into precise, auditable computation
Build reconciliation and exception systems that surface what matters
Work directly with industry operators to pressure-test every number
What we look for:
Rigor with numbers: money, units, rounding, time. You sweat all of it
Experience in fintech, ERP, accounting systems, or adjacent territory
Plain-language communication about complex logic
